  1.Mariusz Kowalski of Poland has done considerable research into this surn ame (German spelling Bogotski) which is quite cmmon in Poland. He sugges ts that the name changed from Bogacki to Pagoskie to Paroskie to Aproski e. He has found that Paroskie was used in Western Cape Voters List of 18 78 and some early records use the name Abagostus. He says that the latt er is not a Polish name and could have been used as a pseudonym 2. Fisherman 3. No estate found
