  Went to St Andrew's College. Played first team Espin House tennis, hock ey & cross country. Went into the Air Force Gymnasium. Then a 3 year BSc Agric. Economics at Stellenbosch. First team at Wilgenhof in tennis, hockey & cro ss country. Was killed in a motor accident when 2 drunk coloureds crashed int o him. Died in Groot Schuur Hospital Buried in Middelburg Cemetery. He w as a boy with many devoted friends. To him who loved life and laughter death was su ch a vast undoing.
